A Prayer for Recovery from Addiction

Dear God,

I come before you today in humility and desperation, seeking your help and guidance as I navigate the path of recovery from addiction. I acknowledge that I am powerless over my addiction, and that only with your help can I overcome it.

Please give me the strength to face each day with courage and determination, and the wisdom to make the right choices for my life. Help me to see the truth about my addiction and to take responsibility for my actions, and to make amends where necessary.

I ask that you surround me with supportive and loving people who will encourage me on my journey, and that you give me the courage to ask for help when I need it.

Most of all, I pray for your healing touch to be upon me, that you would remove the desire for drugs or alcohol from my life and fill me with your peace, joy, and love.

Thank you, God, for your faithfulness and for never giving up on me. I trust in your goodness and in your power to bring about complete healing and restoration in my life.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.
