57 Bible Verses on Salvation

God knows that we are broken people in need of forgiveness. These Bible verses on salvation teach us to put our faith in Jesus, and to trust that he alone can save us from our sin.

God promises to seek out and save those who are lost, and to bind up the injured (Ezekiel 34:11-16). He gave his son Jesus as an atonement for our sin (Isaiah 53:5). And he promises to put his Spirit within us, and to regenerate our hardened hearts (Ezekiel 36:26).

Let us rejoice, that God is our savior. He has not forgotten us, nor forsaken us. He is strong and mighty. Mighty to save!

A Prayer for Salvation

Heavenly Father, all good gifts come from you. You are my king, my judge, and my redeemer. You are the author of life and the savior of the world.

I confess that I have repeatedly sinned against you. I have pursued my own desires, apart from you. I am broken and in need of your healing. I am a sinner in need of your saving grace.

I trust in you, and you alone, to save me from my sin. I believe that Jesus is the savior of the world. I believe that he died so I might have life. From now on, I will put my trust in Him.

I surrender my life to you, and want to live for your glory.

Please forgive me of my sin. Heal my brokenness. Help me to live a life that honors you.

Thank you for the gift of your son Jesus Christ. Pour out your Spirit upon me and help me to do the good works you’ve prepared for me.

In the name of Jesus I pray,

Amen
