God is Faithful Bible Verses

The following Bible verses teach us that God is faithful and without sin. He is just and upright. He keeps his covenant promises. He pursues us with His steadfast love. Like a shepherd tending to His sheep, the Lord seeks us out and finds us when we go astray (Ezekiel 34:11-12).

Hebrews 10:23 says, "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." We can trust God and maintain our faith in Him, because God is always faithful to keep his promises. Our faith is rooted and grounded in God's faith. His faithfulness gives us confidence to persevere when times get hard, or when doubts creep into our mind.

1 John 1:9 tells us that if we confess our sins, "He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." The new covenant is based on God's promise to forgive our sins through the blood of Christ, which was poured out for us. We can trust that when we admit our shortcomings to God, He will keep His promise to forgive us.

The Lord is reliable and trustworthy. God can be depended on to keep His promises. He is always faithful, even when we are not. We can trust Him to help us in our time of need and to never leave us or forsake us.
